Types of 4 Wheeler Tires and Its Function
There are several aspects to consider when we talk about tire compromises such as the type of wheel, the aesthetic look of the vehicle, or the trail performance. There are two types of 4 Wheeler Tires – the one for trail and one for street. If you are driving four-wheel drive more on pavement than on hill or forest roads, then better opt for a less aggressive and street-tread tires. It runs smoother and quieter and doesn’t wear easily. While the all-terrain tires are more aggressive, providing much traction when driving on trail. The mud-terrain tires cause more rough riding and are noisy and more aggressive than the all-terrain. When driving more on trail, better check the tire performance by testing it on different types of terrain such as mud, sand, snow etc. In this way, you can evaluate the traction it provides. Although all-terrain tires works in any type of surface, there is still limitations. It is advised to drive a lot on street, slickrock, sand and soft soil, for the longevity of the tire.
